Archie Comics and Dynamite are crossing over again. Sabrina the Teenage Witch X Vampirella is a new series written by Tini Howard with art by Bill Galvan and Ben Galvan, per Comic Book Club‘s September 17 report quoting Dynamite press materials.
Setup
Desperate for a summer vacation, Sabrina’s aunts demand she house-sit — landing her in an “idyllic beachside town” where she’s trying to hide her magic from nosy neighbors. One of those neighbors is Vampirella, and the Daughter of Drakulon needs Sabrina’s help. Howard frames it as classic Archie beach-party aesthetics colliding with an exploration of Sabrina’s darker powers.

Via Dynamite’s press release (as carried by Comic Book Club), Howard said she loved Vampirella growing up — calling out Nancy Collins’ take as “smart and curious but also clever and funny in a very cool way” — and that Chilling Adventures showed her how far a Sabrina reinvention could go. “Getting to write a version of Sabrina that is an exploration of her dark powers with the look of a classic Archie beach party is so much fun.”

Cover artists named so far: Eric Powell, Francesco Francavilla, Sebastián Píriz, Mike Rooth, plus the Galvans. Dynamite did not provide a debut street date or issue count in the CBC coverage. Comic Book Club notes an editorial expectation of November — treat that as speculation only, not a locked street date. (Separately, CBC notes both characters appeared earlier this year in DC’s DC K.O.: Boss Battle #1 — a different crossover beat from this Dynamite×Archie series.)
