Blizzard has opened the World of Warcraft: Forever beta, with testing available through October 21, 2026 (last full day) as the team moves into final launch prep, according to Blizzard News. The overnight beat is simple: beta access is live now, with a known retail launch still set for November 4, 2026 (soft reminder from the prior BlizzCon slate — not a new dating).
Week 1 what’s in (Blizzard)
- Level cap 20 at open (raised to 30 later in the beta)
- New race/zone: Skyborne and Zephras Isle
- New dungeon: Hall of Thanes (levels 13–18)
- New dungeon: Ruins of Lordaeron (levels 15–20)
- All zone content up to level 20
Blizzard says additional zones, dungeons, and a new battleground will open as the test continues, plus a later undated “Server Slam” window when anyone can hop in for several hours.
Access
Players who opted in can be selected throughout the test; Skyborne Epic Pack and limited-time Warcraft Forever Collection digital bundles also include beta access (Blizzard notes possible delays up to ~30 minutes and a launcher restart). Install path: Battle.net → World of Warcraft → Game Version → World of Warcraft: Forever Beta under In Development.
Inven Global reported a bumpy Sep 17 open (queues, disconnects, DB/WORLD pool fixes) that Classic engineers walked through publicly before the night smoothed out — useful day-one color, not the lead.
As-of: 2026-09-19 morning ~8:25 AM CT (America/Chicago). Beta-through-Oct-21, Week 1 content, and access path verified against Blizzard News. Soft Nov 4 launch cited from prior Blizzard Forever / BlizzCon dating — not rehashed Diablo V / StarCraft slate.
