Dynamite Entertainment is putting Disney’s animal-kingdom Robin Hood into comics for the first time with Disney’s Robin Hood #1, on sale November 11, 2026 for $4.99 (32 pages, Teen), according to Dynamite’s official product page and the publisher’s November 2026 solicits covered by Bleeding Cool and First Comics News.
Writers Nate Cosby (Cheetara: Worldbreaker) and Greg Weisman (Gargoyles) team with artist Alessandro Ranaldi (Zootopia). The solicit pitch: the animal kingdom has its own version of what really happened in Sherwood Forest — Robin breaks into mean ol’ Prince John’s castle every day for a week, nobody can figure out what he’s been stealing, and when Prince John finds out what’s missing… wooooooooo boy.
Covers / creatives
Cover artists stacked across the solicit include Joshua Middleton (Cover A), David Nakayama, David Aja, Phil Hester, and Nathan Szerdy, plus Blank Authentix and virgin retailer incentives per First Comics News / Dynamite shop listings.
Soft Nov slate (space only)
Dynamite’s same November wave also launches Red Sonja / Barbarella #1 (Nov 4) and Vampirella: Paradise #1 (Nov 18) — calendar context only; this package leads Robin Hood.
As-of: 2026-09-19 evening ~5:25 PM CT (America/Chicago). On-sale Nov 11, $4.99, 32 pages, Teen, Cosby/Weisman/Ranaldi, and castle-raid mystery verified against Dynamite shop + Bleeding Cool / First Comics News solicits. No invented crossover or “first Disney comic ever” claims beyond animal-kingdom Robin Hood first comic.
