Kingdom Rush 6: Genesis TD is out today. Ironhide Game Studio launched the fantasy tower-defense sequel worldwide on September 24, 2026 for Steam, the iOS App Store, and Google Play, with Steam listing a 10% launch discount at street.
Steam frames Genesis as a time-travel campaign back to early Linirea — fifteen years after the first Kingdom Rush — where players jump through a portal to rewrite history and stop a younger Vez’nan before darkness takes hold. The game is developed and published by Ironhide out of Montevideo (Steam app 4259190).
Campaign loadout
Published feature list: 18 handcrafted campaign stages across three early-Linirea landscapes (the Citadel, the Stormcloud Depths, and Arcania); 15 towers; 12 heroes (two per stage); 9 spells; 40+ enemies from five factions; and six bosses.
Beyond the main path, every stage unlocks alternate modes including Classic Rush (2011-era arsenal), Iron Challenge, Blitz, Hero Party, and Spell Rush. Individual upgrade trees for heroes and spells, plus retunable global tower upgrades between stages, round out the published systems pitch.
Post-launch note
Ironhide says new campaigns, stages, heroes, spells, and towers are planned this year and beyond. Console ports, Game Pass, and review aggregates are not part of the day-of launch materials covered here.
