Per Marvel’s SDCC announce and the December solicit, the book spins out of Avengers: Armageddon: with Earth’s Mightiest Heroes sidelined, Storm and Wolverine assemble Earth’s Mightiest Mutants — Colossus, Bishop, Iceman, Psylocke, Firestar, and Justice — to face Avengers-level threats. The opening crisis is the Annihilation Wave / Negative Zone invasion threat.
