DC has announced Runway to Ruin, the first crossover event for DC GO!, its mobile-first webcomics imprint on DC Universe Infinite, in a September 29 DC.com publicity post. The month-long event begins Wednesday, October 1, 2026 with Runway to Ruin Alpha and ends Wednesday, October 29 with Runway to Ruin Omega, both written by Patrick R. Young with art by Andrew Drilon. Episodes are free to read with DCUI registration.
Story pitch: heroes are pulled into an intergalactic fashion showcase where new villain King Cringe weaponizes their most embarrassing memories. Participating DC GO! originals include Nothing Butt Nightwing; Harley Quinn in Paradise; Warriors and a Wee Wonder; Jon Kent: This Internship Is My Kryptonite; and The Magical Mysteries of Shazam!.
What follows: three new November series — Supergirl: Accidental Chef!, Green Lanterns: Bad Boys for Light, and Finding My GCPD Dad a Girlfriend — plus continuations/status-quo shifts for Poison Ivy in Briarwood, Warriors and a ’Tween Wonder, and more. Beginning Tuesday, October 6, 2026, the first print collections arrive for Nothing Butt Nightwing Vol. 1, Harley Quinn in Paradise Vol. 1, and Renaissance of Raven.
For US readers, this is DC’s clearest mobile-webcomics event beat of the fall: free Alpha-to-Omega on DCUI, print collections the same week Alpha lands, and a November slate that keeps comedy/romance GO! series in the pipeline beside Absolute Universe monthlies. For Absolute Batman’s winter print schedule already on RCG, see Absolute Batman Beyond Ark-M Special Hits Nov. 18.
Readers new to DC GO! can binge the five participating vertical-scroll series on DC Universe Infinite before October 1 if they want continuity jokes to land; DC’s post lists the exact titles in the crossover. Because episodes are free with registration, the event is also a low-friction on-ramp for Absolute Universe readers who have never tried GO!’s comedy/romance lane. Print collectors should watch the October 6 bookstore and comic-shop release of the first three Vol. 1 paperbacks if they prefer shelf copies to phone scrolling.
What we are not saying: we are not inventing episode counts beyond DC’s 26-per-season framing, claiming DCUI availability in every country, or spoiling King Cringe’s full plan. Report the Oct. 1–29 event window and Oct. 6 print start as DC published them.
