DC has launched DC Shop’s Artist Collection: Absolute Batman, a merchandise line inspired by Scott Snyder and Nick Dragotta’s Absolute Universe flagship, according to Comics Beat (September 30, 2026).
Centerpiece: a leather jacket with a tonal embossed Absolute Batman emblem, embroidered leather DC logo patch, and custom DC-branded metal buttons. Collectors also get a detailed 5-inch 3D-cast magnetic replica pin of Absolute Batman’s battle-axe, packed in a collector’s box with a certificate of authenticity. Rogue-focused streetwear covers Absolute Catwoman, Absolute Joker, Absolute Two-Face, and more. An oversize zip tote features Dragotta artwork with dual shoulder straps for everyday or convention use.
Beat notes Absolute Batman’s broader moment — including an animated series already in development at Warner Bros. Animation — as context for why DC Shop is extending the look into apparel. Do not invent an air date for that series; none is in this merch announce.
Caveat: Comics Beat’s write-up does not lock a full MSRP sheet for every SKU — check DC Shop for live prices rather than inventing jacket or pin costs. For Absolute Batman’s winter print schedule already on RCG, see Absolute Batman Beyond Ark-M Special Hits Nov. 18.
Absolute Universe readers who already buy Snyder/Dragotta monthlies can treat the Artist Collection as the first major DC Shop apparel bridge for the book’s visual identity — jacket, axe pin, rogue tees, and tote — without waiting on an animated premiere date that still is not public. Convention-goers get a clear tote and pin SKU story; streetwear buyers get the rogue line. Always pull live DC Shop pricing at checkout because Beat’s announce did not publish a full MSRP table.
What we are not saying: we are not inventing merch prices, limited-run quantities beyond “limited-edition” pin framing, or an Absolute Batman cartoon premiere date. Report the Artist Collection as launched on DC Shop as of September 30.
