Battlefield 6 is coming to Xbox Game Pass on October 13. Microsoft’s October wave 1 roundup on Xbox Wire, posted Wednesday by Game Pass senior community lead Megan Spurr, lists Electronic Arts’ shooter for Game Pass Ultimate and PC Game Pass, playable through the cloud, on Xbox Series X|S, and on PC.
Those are the only two plans named for it. Game Pass Premium and Game Pass Essential are not listed for Battlefield 6, even though Neon Abyss 2 in the same wave does add Premium.
EA Play rewards come with it
The listing leans on EA Play. According to Xbox Wire, EA Play members can unlock the EA Play Deployment Pack, claim the Season 5 EA Play Pack, and earn recurring seasonal rewards. Microsoft also notes that Game Pass Ultimate includes EA Play, along with 10% off eligible EA digital purchases.
Xbox Wire pitches the game as “the definitive Battlefield experience,” built on all-out warfare, fast-paced close-quarters combat, and tactical destruction. Battlefield 6 is the wave’s headline catalog addition rather than a launch-day release. Seven other games in the post carry the “available on day one” tag, but Battlefield 6 does not. The post gives no time of day for the October 13 drop.
The rest of the wave
Battlefield 6 shares October 13 with day-one launches Deep Dish Dungeon and Valor Mortis. Echo Weaver, Forever Ago, and Neon Abyss 2 arrive October 8. Bluey’s Happy Snaps and Chained Beasts follow on October 15, and the PC-only city builder Beyond These Stars closes the wave on October 16. Gematsu and Insider Gaming carried the same lineup.
The same post lists nine games leaving Game Pass on October 15, led by Clair Obscur: Expedition 33 and A Plague Tale: Requiem. RCG’s earlier report on the October 15 departures has more on that side of the month.
