Naruto Mobile Goes Global as Naruto Card Game Hits June 2027

Naruto fans had plenty to celebrate at New York Comic Con. At Saturday’s “NARUTO: What’s Next?” panel, held on Naruto Uzumaki’s birthday in front of about 3,000 attendees, the series’ team confirmed that Naruto Mobile is finally getting a worldwide release, and laid out the launch plan for the new Naruto Card Game.

Naruto Mobile is going global

Naruto Mobile has been running in mainland China since 2016, and fans outside the country have wanted an official version for years. A new teaser confirmed that it is heading worldwide, according to the official Naruto site. There is no release date yet, and availability and supported languages will vary by region. More details are coming at Jump Festa 2027, which runs December 19 and 20, 2026, at Makuhari Messe in Japan. The game’s worldwide expansion project also has an official account on X, @NTMGamePJTJP.

Naruto Card Game launches in June 2027

The new trading card game now has a firm window. The Naruto Card Game launches simultaneously around the world in June 2027. The first wave includes:

  • Three starter decks built around Naruto, Sasuke and Gaara
  • The first booster pack, “Here Comes Naruto Uzumaki!”, featuring characters from both the original series and Shippuden

Players will not have to wait until summer to try it. Trial events will run at card shops starting in early 2027, and two advance products are planned: an Official Playmat featuring Naruto vs. Sasuke and a Premium Card Collection vol.00 Chakra Set. Anime News Network has more on the demo schedule.

Both announcements are part of a much larger push for the franchise. The panel also revealed a new manga from creator Masashi Kishimoto and a crossover anime with Ninku, all under the banner of a multi-year Naruto and Boruto initiative called Project Rasengan.

For players, the mobile news is the biggest surprise. A global launch would open up a game that has been a hit in China for a decade to players everywhere else. Big-name series keep landing on phones in new ways, too. RCG recently covered how Monster Hunter Rise soft-launched on phones through Netflix.
