One of the biggest RPGs of the last decade is finally coming to Xbox Game Pass. Microsoft’s second October wave of Game Pass titles, announced Tuesday, October 20, is led by Final Fantasy VII Remake Intergrade, which joins the service on Thursday, October 29, for cloud, Xbox Series X|S and PC.
Final Fantasy VII Remake Intergrade retells the original game’s story up to the escape from Midgar and includes the Intermission episode starring Yuffie. It will be available on Game Pass Ultimate, Game Pass Premium and PC Game Pass.

Leaving soon
As always, some games are on the way out. Leaving on October 31 are Day of the Tentacle Remastered, Dead Static Drive, Deep Rock Galactic, Full Throttle Remastered, Grim Fandango Remastered, Lara Croft and the Temple of Osiris, Lego Star Wars: The Skywalker Saga, Wartales and Wildgate. Football Manager 26 and its console edition leave on November 10, the same day Football Manager 27 launches.
Final Fantasy VII has been on a lot of minds this month. Square Enix recently confirmed that FF7 Revelation lets players pick Hard Mode from the start, and Remake Intergrade arriving on Game Pass gives Xbox players a no-extra-cost way to catch up on the first part of the trilogy. If you have been meaning to play it, the last week of October looks like the time to start.
