Zelda 40th Concert Tour Starts Chicago Feb 22

Nintendo

Summary

Nintendo used today’s Legend of Zelda 40th Anniversary Direct to confirm a worldwide orchestral concert series for 2027, separate from the Ocarina of Time remake and anniversary Switch 2 hardware also revealed in the same presentation.

According to Nintendo’s official news post, The Legend of Zelda 40th Anniversary Concert will mix nostalgic and modern series music. A Japan tour opens in Tokyo in January. The North American leg starts in Chicago in February. Europe begins in London in April, and Australia opens in Melbourne in May. Nintendo pointed fans to zelda.gameconcerts.com for locations, dates, and other details.

The official concert site lists the first North American shows for February 22 and 23, 2027, at Chicago’s Symphony Center with members of the Chicago Symphony Orchestra. Later U.S. stops currently include Seattle’s Benaroya Hall in mid-July, Houston’s Jones Hall later that month, Wolf Trap’s Filene Center in Vienna, Virginia, on July 30, and Davies Symphony Hall in San Francisco sometime in October 2027. Ticket sales are scheduled to begin in September 2026, with exact on-sale dates varying by venue. Nintendo and the concert site both say more cities and countries will be announced.

European and Australian openers match Nintendo’s framing: London’s Royal Albert Hall on April 3–4, Melbournes Hamer Hall across four May dates, then further stops including Stockholm, Sydney, Edinburgh, and Glasgow on the published list.

This concert news is distinct from the Switch 2–The Legend of Zelda–40th Anniversary Edition system and Pro Controller arriving October 29, and from The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time remake launching November 5. Those products belong in their own coverage; the concert is a live-event track with its own ticket calendar.

Nintendo has not published a single global ticket date, orchestra lineup for every city, or a final closed city list. Treat San Francisco’s October window as TBA until the concert site posts a firm day.
