Dave the Diver Tops 10 Million Units Sold

PlayStation

Nexon Co., Ltd. said today (Tokyo, Sept. 9, 2026) that Dave the Diver has surpassed 10 million units sold across all platforms worldwide. The hybrid marine adventure is developed by Nexon studio Mintrocket.

Dave the Diver mixes daytime diving and fishing in the Blue Hole with nighttime sushi-restaurant management. Since its full release in 2023 it has expanded from PC to Nintendo Switch, PlayStation, Xbox, and Switch 2, and it won the Game Design category at the BAFTA Games Awards 2024. Gematsu’s platform timeline places Early Access on Steam in October 2022, the PC 1.0 in June 2023, Switch in October 2023, PlayStation in April 2024, Switch 2 in November 2025, and Xbox in November 2025.

Nexon also said the latest DLC, In the Jungle (released this June), has already surpassed one million units. Mobile launched in China in February and had sold over one million units there as of June 2026; a global App Store and Google Play release is locked for September 17, 2026. That mobile date is a calendar note for Releasing When as well as a sales story beat.

The company pointed to collaborations with other IPs (including Godzilla, Like a Dragon, and DREDGE) plus manga serialization in Japan’s CoroCoro Comic, soundtrack releases, merchandise, and dining tie-ins such as KFC and SUSHIRO in China. Gematsu separately reported the same 10 million milestone and platform history, citing Mintrocket. Asia Business Daily framed the mark as a first for a Korean single-package game; that “first” claim is reported as Korean business coverage, not restated as Nexon’s English wire wording.

For context on other recent sales milestones on this desk, see our coverage of Capcom’s Onimusha day-one million. RCG is not claiming Dave the Diver outsold any specific Capcom title—only that both are documented unit milestones with primary sourcing.

What we are not saying: we are not inventing a precise day the counter crossed 10 million, a regional sales split beyond what Nexon published, or that global mobile is already live before Sept. 17.
