Forza.net has posted Playground Games’ British Automotive series update for Forza Horizon 6. The Festival Playlist window runs Thursday, September 10, 2026 at 2:30 PM UTC (10:30 AM ET) through October 8. The series update itself has been downloadable since Monday, September 7 at 5:00 PM UTC on Xbox Series X|S, the Xbox app on PC, and Steam.
Headline gameplay is the permanent new Drift Attack feature at Shimanoyama Circuit — open-world drift scoring with clipping zones, convoy/in-world leaderboards, and a Forza Edition reward path via the Yellow Wristband campaign beat. The British Automotive Takeover near the Horizon Stadium spotlights UK metal, and the Festival Playlist lists series reward cars across the four weeks (including new-to-Horizon picks such as the 2025 Bentley Continental GT Speed, 2019 Ginetta G40 Junior, and 2006 Vauxhall Astra VXR). Car Pass cars for the window are separate from the free playlist rewards.
This soft is about the series playlist clock and Drift Attack, not a platform launch story. Playground’s same post still points PS5 travelers to a later this year Discover Japan arrival — that beat remains covered on RCG as Forza Horizon 6 PS5 still later this year (9745). Do not merge the Sep 10 British Automotive playlist start with the PS5 release window.
Players already on Xbox/PC can download the update now, queue Drift Attack practice, and plan the Sept. 10–Oct. 8 playlist grind. Fixes in the package include wheel placement, separate audio/subtitle language options, and PC rendering/character visibility notes called out on Forza.net.
