ComicBook.com exclusives the cover for Avengers #2, putting Marvel’s new Miracleman (David Colton) beside Captain Marvel and Spider-Man against the Adjudicator — writer Chip Zdarsky, art and cover by Marco Checchetto, on sale December 16, 2026 (ComicBook.com exclusive).
Miracleman on the new Avengers beat
Colton was revealed as the new Miracleman in Avengers: Armageddon #4; he joins Earth’s Mightiest Heroes as part of the bold new lineup launching with Avengers #1 in November 2026. The #2 cover beat is the next-issue look at that team in action, not a rehash of the Armageddon reveal.
Solicit — Aunt May, demons, Mephisto, Adjudicator
Marvel’s published solicit for #2: Spider-Man must act quickly when his past puts Aunt May in jeopardy; demons flood New York City; Mephisto’s goals loom; a mysterious young woman carries a prophetic book — and only the Adjudicator knows. Soft Armageddon aftermath framing only — a world that no longer trusts the Avengers still needs them.
