Battlefield 6’s next season beat has a date. DICE’s Casino Heist update, Phase 2 of Season 5, begins Nov. 10, with the download expected at least a day early, MP1st reports from the studio’s overview.
The headline addition is European Casino, an infantry-only night map set inside a large European-style resort on the Las Vegas Strip. Fights swing from open courtyards into packed gaming floors and narrow halls, with breakable walls for flanks and a center tower that can come down and rewrite the layout for the rest of the match. DICE compared the flow to classic close-quarters maps like Operation Metro, updated with Battlefield 6’s destruction.
A limited-time Casino Heist event runs across Battlefield 6 and REDSEC. Beaten enemies drop Contracts — side objectives such as captures, revives or exploring the new map — that pay DOUGH, an event currency for weapon packages, vehicle skins and Heist Mask soldier cosmetics. Clearing the standard track unlocks a bonus finale challenge.
New toys include the NSW4 Carbine with subsonic rounds by default and a supersonic ammo option, the deployable ADS-17 6GHz Signal Jammer that muddies enemy radar and shared spotting, and the M142 MRAS, a fast truck built for indirect fire. The patch also tweaks extended magazines on the SCW-10 and KV9, adds magazine options across more weapon classes, buffs overlooked attachments and tests flashy M44 pistol optics.
Quality-of-life work is coming too: seasonal Multiplayer Leaderboards across Career, Modes and Classes, proximity chat in Rapid Royale, clearer Battle Royale mission UI, and a pile of Portal creator tools ranging from custom bot skins to screen-effect knobs.
The cadence lines up with the other big shooter calendar, where Modern Warfare 4 Season 1 lands Nov. 6 with new maps and DMZ content. Casino Heist keeps Battlefield 6’s mid-season loop focused on one flashy infantry playground and a cosmetics chase rather than a full season reset.
