EA Sports FC 27 is out worldwide today. The Standard Edition unlocks on September 25, 2026 across PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch, Nintendo Switch 2, and PC, per EA’s launch materials and the editions FAQ.
Ultimate Edition and Ultimate Plus Edition buyers have been in early access since September 18 — up to seven days ahead of the Standard street. Cover framing puts Kylian Mbappé on Standard and Ultimate, with Mbappé and Jude Bellingham sharing the Ultimate Plus cover.
Modes and the Grounds caveat
EA’s pitch for this year’s game includes The Grounds, a social football playground that expands the Clubs experience; a rebuilt Career Transfer Market; and a new Football Ultimate Team Gallery. Platform support is not identical everywhere: EA’s disclaimer states that certain content and features — including The Grounds (and Clubs) — are available only on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, PC, and Nintendo Switch 2. Those modes are not on the PlayStation 4, Xbox One, or original Nintendo Switch core builds.
Lite and storefronts
A free-to-download FC 27 Lite preview is also part of the launch-day lineup on select storefronts, letting players sample modes such as Kick-Off before upgrading. PC distribution spans EA App, Steam, and Epic Games Store in EA’s published materials.
