Konami Press Start: Townfall, Belmont, New Games

PlayStation

Konami Digital Entertainment broadcast KONAMI PRESS START on September 3, 2026, the same day as PlayStation’s English State of Play. The English-language company press release and the VGC rundown are the sources for this roundup. This is one US-readable showcase summary — not a separate post for every trailer. It is also not a clone of RCG’s State of Play draft coverage.

Silent Hill: Townfall remains locked for September 24, 2026. Series producer Motoi Okamoto introduced cast messages from Jovan Adepo, Terry O’Quinn, and Kezia Burrows, plus comments from writer/director Jon McKellan. The game is set on the fictional Scottish island of St. Amelia. Konami also named Japanese voice cast for Simon, Zoe, and Richard. This segment was an extended cast/story look ahead of launch, not a new street-date change.

Castlevania: Belmont’s Curse still launches October 15, 2026. A new “Bloody Tears” trailer showed Rose Belmont’s combat, magic drawn from Tarot-style systems, bosses, and Graham McTavish returning as Dracula. Platforms previously listed for the side-scrolling entry include PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, Switch, and PC.

New reveals: Rhapsody in Scarlet is a story-driven fantasy action-adventure set in 1920s New York, with combo combat mixing magick and beasts. Lead voice credits in the press materials include Cherami Leigh and Akari Kito as Ellie, and Hannah Grace and Saori Onishi as Ilya. PROJECT ZIRCON is a newly framed deck-building roguelike about expanding a nation against the Calamity Dragon of the Abyss; Steam wishlists opened with the show. VGC notes Zircon was previously announced years earlier in a blockchain context and was re-presented here without that framing in the Press Start materials.

Rev. NOiR, previously shown as a PlayStation 5 RPG, is now also confirmed for Xbox Series X|S and Steam in 2027, with wishlists open. Konami Wai Wai World Craft got gameplay as a social create/play/connect platform using Konami franchise assets including Contra and Castlevania. eFootball Kick-Off! on Nintendo Switch 2 gets a free League Mode update on September 24. Primary showcase hub: Konami Press Start. Same-day PlayStation showcase context: our State of Play and State of Play Japan schedule post.

What this story is not claiming: Konami did not announce a Silent Hill remake in this show — that was explicitly ruled out before the stream. Street dates above for Townfall and Belmont’s Curse were already public; the news is the cast/gameplay packages plus the new titles and Rev. NOiR’s multiplatform expansion. This is not a full Japan-only recap.
