Monster Hunter Outlanders Global Launch Oct. 29

TiMi Studio Group and Capcom have dated the free-to-play mobile spin-off Monster Hunter Outlanders: it launches worldwide on Thursday, October 29, 2026 for iOS via the App Store and Android via Google Play, according to Gematsu. Mainland China gets the game in 2027.

Outlanders is an officially Capcom-licensed exploration hunting action game built for phones. Store overview copy frames a new open field called Aesoland, classic Monster Hunter weapon fantasy, and exclusive monsters — including the radiant Elder Dragon Ruger Aidal and other Radiant Species shaped by the environment.

Features called out on store pages: solo field play or tap-to-form 4-player hunting squads; seven classic weapon types at launch (Great Sword, Long Sword, Dual Blades, Hammer, Lance, Heavy Bowgun, and Bow) with more promised later; original Adventurers paired with those weapons; and Buddies Palico, Rutaco, and Trillan. Producer Dong Huang and Monster Hunter series producer Ryozo Tsujimoto both recorded launch-date video messages.

Why it matters for a US audience: this is a hard App Store / Google Play street date for a Capcom-branded Monster Hunter on phones, not a soft “coming soon” teaser. It sits beside Capcom’s console Wilds pipeline — for recent Wilds expansion hands-on context, see our report on Monster Hunter Wilds: Ascendance and the Apha Araketa hunt unit.

For US mobile players, October 29 is a midweek App Store and Google Play unlock rather than a weekend soft launch. Capcom’s Monster Hunter brand already has a huge console audience through Wilds; Outlanders is the phone-first pitch that keeps the weapon fantasy and squad hunts while adding Adventurers, Buddies, and exclusive Radiant monsters that will not simply copy a Wilds quest board. TiMi’s store messaging leans hard on “born for mobile” controls and tap-to-squad matchmaking, which is the practical hook for players who want a hunt between sessions rather than a living-room marathon.

Retail and influencer calendars should treat mainland China’s 2027 window as a separate ship, not a delay of the global build. English coverage still leaves monetization, battle-pass cadence, and regional pricing unpublished — those belong in a follow-up when Capcom or TiMi post them, not in this date lock.

What we are not saying: English coverage does not lock monetization details, regional SKU prices, or a China calendar day inside 2027. We are not inventing console or PC ports. Treat Outlanders as mobile F2P with a confirmed global Oct. 29 unlock outside mainland China.
