ChillyRoom’s Crit Team is sending its top-down PvE extraction shooter No Such Place into Steam Early Access on October 14, 2026, according to a Games Press release dated September 25.
You play as a field agent for the Unknown Research Consortium (U.R.C.), dropping into collapsing dimensional fragments to recover high-value relics before the clock runs out. Missions fold shooter scavenging into RPG-flavored progression: grab weapons, medicine, and classified documents, then extract back to a safehouse you keep upgrading between runs.
Early Access scope
The studio says the Early Access build opens three areas and various spacetime nodes, with nearly ten dimensional zones to explore. Trailer and press materials highlight abandoned military bases, mist-shrouded research facilities, flame forests, Grey Birch Mountain, and “The Edifice” at 88 Whitegate Avenue — an uncanny company whose warped “employees” still clock in as if nothing is wrong.
Co-op and safehouse
Squads can take up to four U.R.C. investigators into the same fragment, splitting roles to cover more ground before extraction. Logistics matter: materials brought home feed safehouse fortification for the next dive into the abyss. Steam is the announced platform for this Early Access window (app 3299050); pricing, console ports, and a full 1.0 timeline are not part of the October 14 announce.
