Xbox Play Anywhere is listed on the Xbox / Microsoft Store product page for the title. That Play Anywhere callout is not in Capcom’s Gamespress body — attribute it to the store listing, not Capcom PR. A $69.99 price point circulating on storefronts is likewise storefront pricing, not a Capcom PR figure.
Early critic consensus is strong. An OpenCritic snapshot taken about 8:45–8:48 a.m. CDT on September 4, 2026, showed a Top Critic Average of 86, Critics Recommend at 94%, and 103 reviews. That is a time-stamped snapshot — scores can still move; do not treat it as a frozen final. On Steam (app 2638890), the API date string for the Americas unlock reads “Sep 3, 2026,” which can disagree with Capcom’s September 4 calendar day depending on timezone and storefront midnight. If you cite Steam’s date string, keep that distinction — do not rewrite Capcom’s Sep 4 launch calendar as a Steam Sep 4 string.
