The gates open in the morning. Frontier Developments confirmed Planet Zoo 2 launches October 13 at 3 PM BST — 9 AM Central — on all platforms, according to the studio’s official countdown post.
That worldwide unlock includes PC, where the Steam page lists a $49.99 price, plus PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S. Frontier also says Planet Zoo 2 will be available on NVIDIA GeForce NOW at the same time as the other storefronts.
Last call on preorder extras
The Bonus Content Pack stays attached to preorders right up until launch. Frontier’s list includes an exclusive Toucan Eat Shop and signage, three unique animal donation bins and a Tiger Photo Stand-In wall.
Planet Zoo 2 is the sequel to Frontier’s zoo-building sim, promising fully aquatic and flying species alongside the usual habitat work. The countdown post is mostly logistics — unlock times, cloud gaming and the preorder cutoff — which is exactly what zookeepers need the day before a big management sim lands.
Publisher peers have been busy too. RCG recently noted Avalanche Studios taking Supermassive games worldwide. For Frontier, tomorrow is about getting the animals into their new homes on time.
If you want the bonus pack, the preorder window closes when the servers open at 9 AM CT.
Frontier’s countdown map spells out the local unlock times so nobody has to convert BST in their head at midnight. Nine AM Central is a friendly weekday launch for a management sim that rewards long first sessions. Steam already shows the $49.99 PC price, and the preorder bonus list is specific enough that fans hunting the Toucan shop or tiger photo wall know exactly what disappears when the clock hits launch. Day-one GeForce NOW support is a practical note for anyone who wants to skip the install and open the gates in the cloud.
