Think of it as a clean-start lane inside modern RuneScape rather than a separate client. Veteran and Reignited characters cannot trade with each other or share boss instances, but they can talk, form clans, and occupy overlapping worlds. New accounts will choose Veteran (mature economy) or Reignited (fresh economy) at character creation. Jagex compares the coexistence model to how Ironman already sits beside standard accounts.
Monetization guardrails are part of the pitch: Reignited launches with no integrity-breaking MTX in the game. Cosmetic marketplace overrides remain available; Radiant stars are not available to Reignited characters.
