NintendoSignal Veil Survival Horror Announced for PS5, Xbox Series, Switch 2, and PC

Serafini Productions has announced third-person survival horror Signal Veil for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, Nintendo Switch 2, and PC via Steam and the Epic Games Store, according to Gematsu (Sal Romano, October 1, 2026). No release date was announced.

Players control teen Aki Mizuno, whose mother vanishes and leaves behind a cellphone with supernatural abilities. Through that device, Aki investigates disappearances at Nishikawa High School, confronts creatures tied to emotional trauma and hidden memories, and digs into the truth about herself. Serafini frames the game as classic third-person survival horror with psychological terror, emotional storytelling, and a 1990s anime-inspired look.

The inherited phone vibrates, makes unusual sounds, and shows interference near spiritual presences or lingering memories. It is Aki’s main tool for spotting enemies before they fully appear, flagging corrupted areas, and revealing clues invisible to the naked eye. Hostile entities can be fought only after they are exposed — disturbed with the phone’s flash, provoked into revealing themselves, or forced to show spiritual weak points — so encounters lean on observation, timing, and resource management rather than brute force alone.

Aki also manages limited medicine, key items, and mystical weapons while her emotional stability frays under hostile entities, corrupted locations, and traumatic events. As her mental state worsens, perception of reality distorts and changes both the environment and enemy behavior. Nishikawa High starts ordinary and gradually twists under supernatural influence across halls and facilities built for suspense and careful observation.

For US multiplat horror fans, this is a clean platform lock — PS5, Xbox Series, Switch 2, Steam, and Epic — with a street date still open.
