Publisher Enhance and developers Monstars and Resonair have announced Tetris Effect: Mixed Realities for Meta Quest 3 and the newly announced Meta VR Glasses, with a 2027 window, according to Gematsu.
Mixed-reality reinvention
Enhance describes the new title as a reinvention of Tetris Effect that leans on mixed-reality passthrough: the player’s room can transform into spaces such as a deep-sea aquarium or a remote space station while Tetromino play builds “gateways” that blur real and virtual space. The pitch emphasizes hand-tracking and controller-free play alongside the series’ musical, immersive presentation.
Distinct from Connected
This is positioned as a distinct new title for Quest 3 and Meta VR Glasses — not a simple port or replacement claim for classic Tetris Effect / Tetris Effect: Connected. No day-one price or cross-buy details were published with the announce.
