Warhammer Survivors finally has a release date. Auroch Digital, the studio behind Warhammer 40,000: Boltgun, announced Tuesday that its Survivors-style roguelite launches November 10, 2026 on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, Nintendo Switch 2, Nintendo Switch, PC, iOS, and Android. It will sell for $7.99 / £6.39 / €7.49, and it joins Xbox Game Pass the day it launches.
Auroch is developing and publishing the game in partnership with Games Workshop’s Warhammer brand and poncle, the London studio founded by Vampire Survivors creator Luca Galante. Gematsu lists the PC version on Steam and the Microsoft Store, while Auroch’s own announcement names Steam and GOG. A PC demo is available now.
Morvenn Vahl and Lyssa Revenya join the roster
The release date trailer introduces two new champions, one from each Warhammer setting. In a PlayStation Blog post, Auroch designer Ellie Harrodine writes that Morvenn Vahl, the High Abbess Sanctorum who commands the Adepta Sororitas, strides into Warhammer 40,000 battles in her Paragon Warsuit. Her Heavy Bolter Fidelis sprays an arc of shots and can trigger a miracle that speeds up its rate of fire. It evolves into the Purgator Mirabilis, which adds the warsuit’s Paragon Missile Launcher.
From the Age of Sigmar side comes Lyssa Revenya, a thief and tomb-robber from the Saviours of Cinderfall. Her Rope and Grapnel fires hooks in from the edges of the screen and drags away any enemies that survive the hit. Evolved, it calls up the Ghost of Rhea, a screaming banshee that bursts into a cloud of damaging fog. Harrodine says the pair are two of more than 40 playable champions.
Demo, pre-orders, and Game Pass
Auroch says the new demo is live on Steam and on Xbox for PC. It features two new champions, the Legend of Catachan and Lyssa Revenya, along with changes based on community feedback. Pre-orders on PS5, Switch 2, and Switch opened Tuesday in select territories, and Xbox Series X|S pre-orders start October 27. The studio is offering a 10% launch and pre-order discount on select platforms. On PS5, PlayStation Plus members get 10% off when they pre-order.
Auroch promises more than 75 weapons, multiple modes and stages across the 41st Millennium and the Mortal Realms, and tough Extremis bosses such as the Norn Emissary. Boltgun’s Malum Caedo is back as a playable hero, alongside Age of Sigmar’s Neave Blacktalon and slayer Gotrek Gurnisson. Hordes include Tyranids, Skaven, Death Guard Plague Marines, and Orks.
Auroch first revealed Warhammer Survivors for PC on November 4, 2025, with a 2026 window, and added the PlayStation, Xbox, and Switch versions in April. The November date keeps that promise. It also gives Warhammer fans a cheap way to pass the time before Dawn of War IV reaches PC on December 3.
