Critical Role is handing the Game Master chair to a new voice for a video-game crossover one-shot: Zachery Renauldo will GM Altered World Event, a Daggerheart adventure set in the world of Remedy Entertainment’s upcoming Control: Resonant.
Polygon’s Aimee Hart (Sep 16, 2026) reports this is Renauldo’s first time leading as Critical Role GM. Critters previously met him as a player — Barnaby in the 2025 Suikoden special and Alphonse in the mini-campaign Age of Umbra: Sallowlands. His tabletop career started as a YouTube/TikTok creator known for humorous D&D content.
