AMATA Games, under license from Capcom, has announced Phoenix Wright: Ace Attorney – Dual Destinies VR for Meta Quest and the newly announced Meta VR Glasses, targeting a 2027 launch, Gematsu reports from Meta Connect coverage.

The project adapts the fifth mainline Ace Attorney entry into VR. Players take on the roles of Phoenix Wright, Apollo Justice, and Athena Cykes, stepping into courtroom battles and investigations as Phoenix returns after an eight-year gap to push back on the series’ “Dark Age of the Law” framing.

Voice OBJECTION!, hand tracking, 3D crime scenes

AMATA’s feature list leans hard on immersion: face-to-face courtroom confrontations, fully playable with controllers or voice-activated “OBJECTION!” plus hand-tracked gestures for pointing at witnesses and presenting evidence, and hands-on 3D crime-scene investigation with motion controls. Classic contradiction-spotting and episodic case structure remain the mystery backbone.

Language support at announce covers English, French, German, Japanese, Korean, Traditional Chinese, and Simplified Chinese. No exact day inside 2027 has been published.

Hardware context

The announce pairs Dual Destinies VR with Meta’s Quest line and the new Meta VR Glasses hardware revealed at Connect.
