The Last of Us Day 2026: Clicker Armor Comes to Ghost of Yōtei Oct. 1, Plus a Youtooz Bloody Clicker, Avatars and a PC Sale

PC | MacA lone female samurai in dark armor with a split, fungus-covered helmet stands katana drawn in a misty pampas-grass field, with a fungus-covered torii gate and a snowy volcano under an amber sky.

Naughty Dog’s The Last of Us Day 2026 plans don’t include a Part III tease. They do include a Clicker walking into someone else’s game. In its official TLOU Day post on Monday, the studio announced a Clicker-inspired armor set for Ghost of Yōtei, made with Sucker Punch, and a limited Youtooz Bloody Clicker figure. The roundup also includes new PlayStation and Steam avatars, official The Last of Us social accounts, a charity stream for AbleGamers and a PC sale.

The Last of Us Day falls on September 26, the in-game date of the Cordyceps outbreak. This year Naughty Dog posted on X that it would hold the main festivities for Monday, September 28. HBO marked the weekend with Season 3 casting news, which we reported in The Last of Us Season 3 casts John Goodman, Laura Bailey and Ian Alexander.

Clicker armor comes to Ghost of Yōtei on October 1

The biggest reveal is a crossover. Naughty Dog says Sucker Punch built a Clicker-inspired armor for Atsu that arrives Thursday, October 1, in Ghost of Yōtei: Most Wanted. Once you unlock it, you can wear it in the main game and in the new Echoes of Sekigahara expansion. Naughty Dog is also asking players to tag the studio in photo mode shots of the armor, and says it will share some of them on its channels.

The timing lines up with Sucker Punch’s own calendar. According to the PlayStation Blog, Most Wanted (a new single-player combat survival mode) and Echoes of Sekigahara (a narrative expansion) arrive with a patch on October 1 as part of Ghost of Yōtei Complete Edition. In some territories, including Asia, Australia and New Zealand, the patch lands October 2. The Complete Edition costs $69.99 on PS5. Players who already own the game can add both new pieces with the $14.99 Complete Edition Upgrade.

Youtooz Bloody Clicker

For collectors, Naughty Dog and Youtooz co-created a Bloody Clicker variant for TLOU Day 2026. Naughty Dog says the figure “won’t be around for long” and that every box carries the TLOU Day 2026 logo. When RCG checked the Youtooz listing around 5 PM CT Monday, the 5-inch figure was up for pre-order at $29.99, with an estimated departure window of January 10 to March 10. Compared with Youtooz’s earlier Clicker, this one has a blood-drenched body, deep red spores, and bloody handprints printed inside the box.

Charity stream for AbleGamers

The live centerpiece was a No Return charity stream for AbleGamers, scheduled for 4 PM CT Monday on Naughty Dog’s Twitch and YouTube channels. Blind accessibility professional Ross Minor was set to play The Last of Us Part II Remastered’s roguelike mode and show off its accessibility features, with Naughty Dog’s Jonathon Dornbush hosting. Viewers could help pick which No Return path Ross took, and Naughty Dog developers planned to drop in to share memories from development.

Alongside the stream, Sony ran a sweepstakes for viewers in the U.S. and Canada (excluding Quebec), ages 18 and up, during a 4 to 6 PM CT window. According to the official rules, viewers could enter by donating through Tiltify on Twitch, and a free entry form was open for the first hour. The 15 prizes include five Youtooz Bloody Clickers, a The Last of Us limited edition wireless controller, Magic: The Gathering foil cards, Dark Horse figures, a Joel figure and a Joel bust signed by Troy Baker, a skate deck and a Complete Collector’s Edition signed by Neil Druckmann, and scripts signed by Druckmann and Halley Gross.

Official The Last of Us social accounts

Naughty Dog’s post opened with a new home for the franchise: official The Last of Us accounts on Instagram, X and Facebook. The studio says it will use them for community creations, merch drops and collaborations.

Steam and Epic sale

On PC, Steam and the Epic Games Store have The Last of Us Part I at 50% off and Part II Remastered at 33% off through Thursday, October 1, at noon CT (10 AM PT).

What fans didn’t get was any word on the next Last of Us game. What they got was a Clicker loose in Ezo, a bloodier Youtooz and a stack of freebies, which is a pretty full TLOU Day for a series with nothing new to announce.
