Satisfactory Core Values Expansion Announced

PC | Mac

Coffee Stain Publishing and Coffee Stain Studios used the Big Break Showcase 2026 to announce Core Values, the first expansion for first-person open-world factory builder Satisfactory, according to Gematsu (September 29, 2026). A release date was not announced.

Studio framing: Core Values adds a new narrative thread, new factory buildings, new creatures, new biomes, and a “friendly-looking feline,” sending pioneers underground for a brand-new expedition beneath the familiar alien surface. That is the full public feature list in today’s English write-ups — treat anything more granular (map size, pricing, whether it ships as paid DLC vs season pass) as unconfirmed until Coffee Stain posts a store page.

Satisfactory already ships for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC via Steam, Epic Games Store, and Humble Store. The expansion announcement lands as Coffee Stain’s showcase also dated other portfolio updates — including Lightyear Frontier’s 1.0 and Goat Simulator 3’s next park expansion — signaling a busy late-2026 / 2027 slate for the publisher’s biggest sims.

For US multiplat players, Core Values is the first named post-1.0 content beat that promises a story-led underground chapter rather than another free patch note dump. Factory-game audiences have been waiting for a structured expedition loop after years of community-driven megabases; Coffee Stain is finally putting a title on that promise. For another multiplat publisher beat already on RCG this week, see Ace Combat 8 Deluxe Early Access Is Live Now.

Factory-game players in the US should treat Core Values as a roadmap flag rather than a pre-order button. Coffee Stain’s Big Break segment established the underground expedition fantasy and the feline teaser, but store pages, trailers beyond the showcase cut, and a priced SKU still have to land before anyone should rearrange a 2026 purchase calendar. Until that date posts, keep Satisfactory’s current 1.0 multiplat build as the playable baseline and file Core Values under announced expansion — not shipping content.

The broader Coffee Stain showcase context also matters for readers who follow the publisher’s other sims: the same September 29 stream locked Lightyear Frontier’s November 4 1.0 and Goat Simulator 3’s November 19 park DLC. Core Values is the one major announce in that cluster that still lacks a day, which is why RCG is covering it as a feature reveal with an explicit TBD caveat instead of padding a fake street date.

What we are not saying: we are not inventing a Core Values street date, MSRP, platform day-and-date lock beyond the base game’s current SKUs, or crossover content with other Coffee Stain titles. Announced features only — date TBD.
