Queen’s Domain, the King’s Field-inspired retro-fantasy first-person action RPG from developer Freshly Baked Games and publisher Future Friends Games, launches October 30, 2026 on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, Nintendo Switch 2, and PC via Steam, according to Gematsu (Sal Romano, September 30, 2026). The console versions are newly announced alongside the shared street date.
Players wash up on the Isle of Neasied and set out to find their father while uncovering the dark heart of a mysterious, interconnected island. Traversal leans on the legendary Holy Sword Endu, which can launch the player from platform to platform — with upgrades that extend how far those flights reach — through a labyrinthine world packed with secrets and dangers.
Stamina combat, Endu flight, and a deep weapon catalogue
Combat is action-oriented with a classic stamina meter, charge attacks, weapon-specific specials, and secondary throwing weapons. Future Friends Games pitches more than 50 melee weapons to discover, equip, and upgrade, plus more than 20 types of throwing weapons for varied approaches. Players level up with XP, accessorize, and eat food to push stats further while fighting through more than 100 enemies, mini-bosses, and bosses across what the publisher frames as dozens of hours of adventuring and exploration.
The presentation is a lovingly crafted retro-fantasy look aimed at fans of first-person dungeon crawlers in the King’s Field tradition — stamina-managed melee, vertical exploration, and a dense island dungeon rather than an open-world checklist. US multiplat players get a clear day-and-date: October 30 across PS5, Xbox Series, Switch 2, and Steam. Rating, MSRP, and edition splits were not part of Gematsu’s announce write-up; storefront pages will be the next checkpoint once they go live.
