Argonaut Games will release the remastered Croc 2: Kingdom of the Gobbos on Wednesday, October 29, 2026 for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series, PlayStation 4, Nintendo Switch, and PC via Steam and GOG, according to Gematsu (October 1, 2026). The sequel remaster follows Argonaut’s 2025 remaster of the original Croc: Legend of the Gobbos.
Studio overview: after Baron Dante’s return, Croc finds a bottle message suggesting his birth parents are searching for him and sets off across the mainland — Sailor, Cossack, Caveman, and Inca Gobbo villages — through more than 40 open-ended 3D platforming levels. Signature moves return alongside a new triple jump, vehicle set pieces (cars, speedboats, minecarts, hang glider, airplane), and Shop Meet Pete’s crystal gadgets. Guardians called out include Soveena the Squid, Cannon Boat Keith, and Flavio the Thermal Fish.
The remaster also ships Croc2pedia, a digital museum of recovered design docs, marketing assets, cut content galleries, and interviews with original and remaster teams — the same archival pitch Argonaut used to differentiate the first remaster.
For US multiplat platformer fans, October 29 is a clean six-storefront date without a staggered Switch wait. Gematsu’s day-of note does not lock MSRP — check Steam and console stores closer to launch. It lands in the same late-October indie/action shopping window as other dated multiplats already on RCG such as DRG: Survivor Hits PS5 and Switch Oct. 7.
Argonaut’s remaster pitch also emphasizes preserving the original control feel while updating visuals and packaging archival material that never shipped with the 1999 disc. For collectors who missed the first remaster’s documentary extras, Croc2pedia is the sequel’s equivalent hook beyond the platforming campaign itself.
What we are not saying: we are not inventing a price, Game Pass day-one claim, or story spoilers beyond Argonaut’s published overview. Report October 29, 2026 across the platforms Gematsu listed.
