Xbox Wire’s Next Week on Xbox roundup for October 5–9, 2026, published October 2, confirms a stacked Monday, October 6 cluster: Gears of War: E-Day’s full launch (Game Pass / Xbox Play Anywhere called out), STAR WARS: Galactic Racer, and KINGDOM HEARTS Collection [I–III]. Primary source: Xbox Wire.
E-Day’s Wire blurb frames the Oct. 6 street as the worldwide release after Premium / early-access staging — Emergence Day campaign with Marcus and Dom, Horde Siege, Versus, and Unreal Engine 5. Galactic Racer is pitched as a runs-based Outer Rim racing reinvention from Secret Mode at a listed $59.99. The Kingdom Hearts Collection bundles HD 1.5+2.5 ReMIX, HD 2.8 Final Chapter Prologue, and Kingdom Hearts III + Re Mind for $74.99 with Play Anywhere noted.
Later in the same Wire week: Echo Weaver and several indies on Oct. 7–9, plus Clive Barker’s Hellraiser: Revival and Neon Abyss 2 among Oct. 8 highlights. Lead this story on the Oct. 6 triple; treat the rest as calendar context, not separate reviews.
For US multiplat shoppers, Oct. 6 also sits beside PlayStation-week traffic already on RCG such as Ace Combat 8 Deluxe Early Access Is Live Now — different franchises, same early-October spend window. Wire prices are list callouts subject to change; check store pages day-of.
Release dates in the Wire feature remain subject to change by Microsoft’s own disclaimer. Today’s news value is the first-party confirmation that E-Day’s full multiplat street, Galactic Racer, and the KH bundle share October 6 on Xbox calendars.
What we are not saying: we are not inventing Metacritic averages, claiming day-one Game Pass for every title on the list, or reviewing Galactic Racer from third-party score roundups. Report Oct. 6 Gears full / Galactic Racer / KH Collection per Xbox Wire.
