He-Man Brawler Dragon Pearl of Destruction Hits Feb. 4

PlayStation

Greyskull’s favorite sword-and-sandal crew finally has a street date. He-Man and the Masters of the Universe: Dragon Pearl of Destruction launches February 4, 2027 for $29.99, according to Gematsu and the game’s Steam page.

Bitmap Bureau is developing the side-scrolling beat ’em up, with Clear River Games publishing and Limited Run Games handling physical editions. Platforms are PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch and PC via Steam.

Players pick from four Masters — He-Man, Teela, Man-At-Arms and She-Ra — and fight through more than 13 stages to stop Skeletor and Evil-Lyn. Battle Cat joins the scrap, and the roster also includes familiar faces like Trap Jaw, Kobra Khan and Orko, per Limited Run and Gematsu’s overview.

Physical preorders are open now

Limited Run Games opened Standard, Classic and Collector’s Edition preorders on October 12 for Switch, PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series. That preorder window runs through November 22, 2026. Digital wishlists are live on Steam.

Bitmap Bureau has a strong track record with colorful 2D brawlers, and Masters of the Universe is a natural fit for that style. Fighting game fans already had a busy October between Tekken and Fatal Fury news; RCG covered Tekken’s Reina joining Fatal Fury: City of the Wolves over the weekend.

February 4 puts Dragon Pearl of Destruction on the calendar for early 2027. Until then, the Power Sword is available to preorder.

Clear River Games published the release-date trailer on its official channel as the Steam page flipped to February 4, 2027. That combination — a dated storefront, a publisher trailer and Limited Run hardware editions — is a clearer signal than another gamescom teaser. Simultaneous co-op for two players is part of the pitch, which matters for a living-room brawler built on 1980s toy-aisle energy. If Bitmap Bureau’s sprite work lands the way the studio’s recent 2D fighters have, Eternia is going to look loud in February.
