Xbox’s next indie showcase is a week away. IGN and Xbox will stream a new ID@Xbox Showcase on Tuesday, October 20, at 10 a.m. PT, which is noon CT, 1 p.m. ET and 6 p.m. BST. The show promises trailers, gameplay and announcements from 18 games headed to Xbox and PC, including several world premieres.
Only two names have been confirmed so far. The Wolf Among Us Remastered will be there just nine days before its release, and Critical Reflex Games will show gameplay from its upcoming lineup. The rest of the list is being kept under wraps until the stream.
Where to watch
The showcase will run everywhere IGN streams: IGN.com, IGN’s YouTube channel, Facebook, X and Twitch. It will also be carried on Eurogamer, VG247 and Rock Paper Shotgun. No running time has been announced.
The Wolf Among Us returns
Telltale’s remaster of its 2013 Fables adventure is due on October 29 for PC through Steam and the Epic Games Store, PlayStation 5, Switch and Xbox One, which also covers Xbox Series X|S through backward compatibility. As detailed on the PlayStation Blog, it adds updated visuals and animation plus a Noir Mode that switches the game to black and white at any time. Expect the showcase to give it one last push before launch.
What came out of the last one
April’s ID@Xbox Showcase featured There Are No Ghosts at the Grand, Solo Leveling Arise Overdrive, Tears of Metal and Escape Academy 2: Back 2 School, which has since been dated for consoles. RCG recently covered Escape Academy 2 hitting PS5 on Nov. 5. ID@Xbox shows have also been a regular venue for Game Pass announcements, so subscribers will want to keep an eye on this one.
With 18 games and a handful of premieres packed into one stream, October 20 should be a busy afternoon for anyone tracking indie releases heading into 2027.
