ZA/UM’s spy RPG is coming to Nintendo’s new handheld dock hybrid on the same day as PlayStation. ZERO PARADES: Director’s Cut launches on Switch 2 and PlayStation 5 on November 3, the studio announced via Gematsu.
RCG previously covered the PlayStation date and the free PC Director’s Cut upgrade in ZERO PARADES: Director’s Cut — PS5 Nov 3 + Free PC Update. Thursday’s news adds Switch 2 to that street date.
Built around Switch 2
On Switch 2, ZA/UM is leaning on Joy-Con 2 mouse controls, touchscreen support and HD Rumble 2 so players can work through conversations, intel and the streets of Portofiro in handheld or docked play. The PS5 version uses DualSense adaptive triggers, haptics and the controller speaker, plus 3D audio and 4K presentation.
What Director’s Cut adds
Both consoles launch with the Director’s Cut from day one. That package adds a new Dramatic Encounter called the Quisach Roundabout, Backstage Mode with cut content and development stories narrated by art director Kaspar Tamsalu, new outfits, interface improvements and about 40,000 words of new writing. English voice-over is completed and revised, with further visual, accessibility and quality-of-life work across the game.
The Quisach Roundabout encounter puts protagonist Hershel and her old friend Ramses behind the wheel of a hijacked tuk tuk while extremely high and seemingly unable to leave a traffic circle, a bit of ZA/UM absurdity that sits beside the more reflective Backstage Mode. Together they underline that Director’s Cut is not a simple resolution patch.

PC owners already have the Director’s Cut as a free upgrade. For Disco Elysium fans waiting on console, November 3 is now a dual-platform date rather than PlayStation-only.
