Two familiar voices are heading back to the Velvet Room. Atlus revealed on social media that Kirk Thornton will voice Igor and Marisha Ray will voice Margaret in the English version of Persona 4 Revival, Siliconera reports.
Both actors have played these characters before. Ray has been the English voice of Margaret for years, starting with the fighting game spin-off Persona 4 Arena Ultimax and the rhythm game Persona 4: Dancing All Night, and she also played the role in Persona Q: Shadow of the Labyrinth. Revival marks the first time she will voice Margaret in the main Persona 4 story.
Thornton is newer to Igor, the long-nosed master of the Velvet Room who has appeared across the series. His first turn in the role was Persona 5, and he returned for Persona 3 Reload, so he has now voiced Igor in each of the recent mainline releases.
With this reveal, all three Velvet Room residents in Persona 4 Revival now have confirmed voices. Earlier in October, Atlus shared a short clip of Marie, giving fans their first listen to how she will sound in English.
Persona 4 Revival is a full remake of the 2008 PS2 classic, which follows a group of high schoolers investigating a string of murders tied to a mysterious TV channel in the rural town of Inaba. The game launches Feb. 18, 2027 on PS5, Xbox Series X|S and PC, alongside an official soundtrack CD, and a Switch 2 version follows on May 20, 2027.
It is shaping up to be a busy stretch for role-playing remakes, with Square Enix also celebrating strong sales for Romancing SaGa 2: Revenge of the Seven. For Persona fans who have spent years with the Golden release, the returning cast is a good sign that Atlus is aiming for continuity with the voices players already know.
