Nintendo is holding a new Indie World showcase this week. The stream airs Wednesday, October 28 at 7 AM PT, 9 AM CT, 10 AM ET and 2 PM GMT, and it will focus on upcoming indie games for Nintendo Switch 2 and Nintendo Switch.
Nintendo of America announced the date on social media, inviting fans to join it on October 28 at 7 AM PT for a new Indie World Showcase. Nintendo says the Western presentation will run around 15 minutes.
Japan looks set to get a longer show. Nintendo’s Japanese account on X lists that version at about 25 minutes, which suggests a separate Japanese broadcast with additional games, possibly including titles planned only for that region, as VGC points out.
What happened last time
The previous Indie World aired in March and ran roughly 18 minutes. Highlights from that show included Denshattack, Mixtape, InKonbini, Grave Seasons, Outbound, Ratatan and Blue Prince.
Nintendo has not said which games will appear on Wednesday, so anything beyond the date, the running times and the Switch 2 and Switch focus is guesswork for now.
