Amazing Spider-Man #1000’s general street date slipped from Wednesday, September 16, 2026, to Wednesday, September 30, 2026 after Marvel told retailers the book was delayed at the printer. Penguin Random House’s main listing (UPC 75960621001503611) still shows On Sale September 30, with FOC July 13. That Sep 30 slip is the current general street — do not treat stale “On Sale 9/16” retailer copy as current.
Local Comic Shop Day is Saturday, September 26, 2026, for ComicsPRO indie shops. Bleeding Cool reports that participating LCSD stores can still sell the Skan LCSD variant (UPC 75960621001503660) on that Saturday — four days before other editions, including digital, land on Wednesday, September 30. Attribute the September 26 early-sell window to Bleeding Cool’s reporting. Marvel.com has not confirmed the post-slip LCSD early window; the strongest first-party date split on the public retail side is the PRH listings.
PRH lists the Skan LCSD variant On Sale September 23 — a distributor on-sale ahead of the Saturday LCSD event, not the same as the main #1000 September 30 street. Keep the Skan LCSD cover distinct from the main #1000 edition.
Separately, Bleeding Cool says ComicsPRO is offering a spot-color Skan variant direct to members for LCSD that does not go through PRH. Attribute that member spot-color detail to Bleeding Cool only — not to Marvel.com or PRH.
Primary write-up: Bleeding Cool on ASM #1000’s LCSD early window. Related live comics coverage on RCG News: Ghost Machine’s fall 2026 Rook, Geiger, and Hyde Street dates.
What this story is not claiming: every retailer can sell #1000 on September 26; main street is September 16 or September 26; the Skan LCSD variant is the same as the main #1000; inventing a recall of the September 30 slip; presenting the spot-color member edition or the September 26 sell as Marvel.com-confirmed; or treating stale AIPT/retailer “On Sale 9/16” as the current general street.
