A day after CONTROL Resonant launched, Remedy Entertainment posted its first post-launch roadmap — and the big asks fans flagged at ship are now dated. Per Remedy’s blog as covered by Polygon and Push Square, New Game Plus Plus lands in October 2026 and Photo Mode in November 2026.
New Game Plus Plus (October)
Resonant already shipped with a New Game+ path, but launch NG+ stops after a second playthrough, Push Square notes. October’s New Game Plus Plus update is meant to let players stack consecutive NG+ runs without wiping progress — “Do 665 runs if you want,” Remedy quipped in the blog language relayed by Polygon. Exact calendar day inside October was not stated.
Photo Mode (November)
November brings the long-requested Photo Mode. Remedy says it consulted community virtual photographers and delayed the feature from launch to keep shipping the game in the best shape possible. Exact November day also unstated.
Cosmetics yes; story Expansion Pass not announced
Remedy also teased more cosmetic pieces for protagonist Dylan in future updates, without a date or look. Unlike Control and Alan Wake 2, Resonant has not offered an Expansion Pass, and the September 25 post does not announce story DLC. Coverage treats that as absence, not a hard cancel of something never sold. A separate day-after combat patch (enemy health down / weapons up) is soft context only for this roadmap story.
CONTROL Resonant launched September 24, 2026 on current platforms covered in prior RCG launch reporting.
