Spike Chunsoft and developer Gemdrops have revealed Sakutaro Higashi, a new Slayhem Mode student for Danganronpa 2×2, according to Gematsu. His Ultimate talent remains ??? for now.
Voice cast
Higashi is voiced by Natsuki Hanae in Japanese and Griffin Burns in English. Both actors’ comment videos emphasize that he is one of the high-school students pulled into Slayhem Mode class trials — and that the Ultimate reveal is being held for players.
Original vs. Slayhem
Danganronpa 2×2 still offers two modes from the start: Original, a revamped retelling of Danganronpa 2: Goodbye Despair with enhanced presentation, and Slayhem, a completely different storyline based on the same setting. Street date remains January 14, 2027 for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, Nintendo Switch 2, Nintendo Switch, and PC via Steam and the Epic Games Store.
