Bucharest indie Eldrem Studios has unveiled Eldrem Kingdoms, a premium creature-collecting / dragon-riding open-world RPG from a roughly 10-person team of ex–Assassin’s Creed and Ghost Recon seniors. Per the studio’s Games Press release on September 25, the game is aiming Windows PC Early Access on Steam and the Epic Games Store in 2027, with other platforms under consideration.

Funded in five hours

Eldrem says the game has been in development for over a year and launched a Kickstarter to fund additional features. The PR states the campaign was fully funded within five hours of debut, with stretch goals still being added from community feedback. Live Kickstarter dollar totals were not independently scraped for this write-up (Cloudflare blocks on the project page), so we are citing the studio’s funded-in-five-hours claim only — not inventing a raised amount.

What the pitch promises

Feature claims in the press materials include dragon riding and floating-island exploration; creature-powered combat where switching companions switches your powers; tame / breed / evolve loops; and building a floating fortress base. Eldrem positions the game as a premium single-player experience with no pay-to-win, optional cosmetics/expansions later, and co-op / competitive modes planned after launch. Co-founder George Cercheaza framed the project as veterans choosing to work directly with the community outside a big AAA studio.

No firm Early Access month inside 2027, day-one console ports, or price were listed in the Games Press note.
