Ghost of Yotei Most Wanted DLC Live Oct. 1

PlayStation

Ghost of Yotei downloadable content pairing Most Wanted and Echoes of Sekigahara lands Thursday, October 1, 2026 for $14.99 together as DLC for existing owners, according to VGC’s hands-on and pricing note. A Complete Edition is listed at $69.99 for new buyers, who can play the base game now with the Oct. 1 content arriving as a patch.

Most Wanted is a run-based roguelike: fight waves drawn from the base game, then face one of the Yotei Six. Players earn currency for menu upgrades and starting-weapon changes. Unlike the campaign, Most Wanted supports multiple characters — including Jin Sakai from Ghost of Tsushima — unlocked based on currency spent upgrading others, so hoarding solely for Jin is discouraged.

VGC’s footage and write-up stress that Most Wanted makes players re-earn many base abilities through the currency loop, so even high-level campaign veterans start weaker and should expect frequent early deaths. Echoes of Sekigahara is the accompanying expansion bundled in the same $14.99 DLC package.

Caveat: pricing and Complete Edition framing come from VGC’s English day-of coverage — check your regional PlayStation Store for the exact SKU name and local currency. For another same-week PlayStation multiplat beat already on RCG, see Ace Combat 8 Deluxe Early Access Is Live Now.

PS5 owners who already finished Atsu’s campaign can buy the $14.99 DLC for same-day Most Wanted runs and the Echoes expansion; newcomers weighing Complete Edition should confirm whether the $69.99 SKU is the cleanest path in their region’s store. Jin Sakai’s return is the marketing magnet, but VGC’s progression note matters: currency spent upgrading other characters gates Jin, so the mode wants broad investment rather than a straight rush to the Tsushima protagonist. Treat regional tax and storefront naming as day-of checks.

What we are not saying: we are not inventing PC/Xbox versions, claiming Most Wanted is free, or spoiling Echoes of Sekigahara’s full campaign beats beyond the DLC pairing VGC reported. Report Oct. 1 live; $14.99 DLC / $69.99 Complete as covered.
