Hide Nor Hair is a new six-issue DC Vertigo limited series from writer Adam Smith and artist Bob Quinn, and issue #1 arrives in comic shops and on digital platforms on January 6, 2027, priced at $3.99 for the 40-page main edition and $4.99 for card stock variants.
The book is set in 1950s Hollywood. According to DC’s announcement, as reported by Comics Beat, it follows Mallory Headley, who creates living movie-monster masks at the Leonard family’s special effects house. When her masks are taken from her, Mallory sets out to get vengeance.
Smith is known for Long Walk to Valhalla, and Quinn for Kill Your Darlings. Quinn also draws the main cover, and Lucas Gattoni handles letters.
Card stock variant covers for Hide Nor Hair #1 come from Reiko Murakami, Jasmine Darnell and Niko Henrichon. Issue #2 is scheduled for February 2027.
