Arc Games and developer Thekla have posted an “Explore the Realm” trailer for narrative puzzle adventure Order of the Sinking Star, detailing the game’s Overworld hub, four cardinal realms, and Gold Rooms that merge puzzle systems — with the street date still set for October 8, 2026 on PlayStation 5, Nintendo Switch 2, and PC via Steam, per Gematsu.
Overworld and four realms
Publisher materials describe a non-linear central Overworld with paths north, east, west, and south: the Hearty Heroes of Hauling (party of fantasy movers with combo abilities), the Mirror Isles (reflection-swapping trader voyage), The Promise caves (explorer light-beam gems), and Skipping Stones to Lonely Homes (marooned sailor route-planning). Players can freely backtrack when stuck; fog lifts as the map expands.
Gold Rooms and cast tease
Clearing Gold Rooms bridges two realms, unlocking dual-combination hybrid zones that intertwine characters and mechanics. Arc Games pitches “over one thousand handcrafted puzzles” and says a full professional voice cast will be unveiled closer to launch — names not yet published.
