Image Comics is collecting the earliest Savage Dragon stories in a softcover trade paperback — not a hardcover — titled Savage Dragon Compendium TP Vol. 01. Erik Larsen’s fin-head binge brick runs 1,088 pages and lists at $64.99. Per Image’s product page, it collects THE DRAGON #1–5 and SAVAGE DRAGON #1–44. Image’s press notes describe #1–5 as the expanded original three-issue miniseries — follow that Image framing, not trade roundups that shorten it to #1–3 only.

The package is timed as holiday shopping stock while the monthly series continues toward issue #300.
