Ubisoft Brands Creative House 2 as Massive

PC | Mac

Ubisoft’s Creative House 2 is now branded Massive Entertainment, becoming the global label for Tom Clancy’s The Division, Ghost Recon, Splinter Cell, and new original IP including March of Giants, according to Massive’s first-party post.

Following Christoph Hartmann’s appointment earlier this year as General Manager of Creative House 2, teams in Montréal, Paris, Sweden, and Toronto will operate under the shared Massive Entertainment identity. Hartmann framed the move as combining creative energy across those cities to shape the next generation of the franchises and push craft and technology forward.

Critical continuity line for players and partners: Massive Entertainment remains part of Ubisoft, which still publishes and distributes all games under the Massive brand. The studio says there is no change to ongoing commitments for players or partners. This is a label/identity consolidation, not a sale, spin-out, or street-date dump.

For US audiences tracking Ubisoft’s Tom Clancy portfolio, the practical takeaway is naming clarity: Division, Ghost Recon, Splinter Cell, and March of Giants now sit under one Massive Entertainment banner inside Ubisoft. No new launch calendars were attached to today’s note. For another multiplat publisher beat already on RCG, see Ace Combat 8 Deluxe Early Access Is Live Now.

Practically, US Division, Ghost Recon, and Splinter Cell players should expect the same Ubisoft accounts, servers, and support channels — the Massive Entertainment name is the creative-house banner, not a live-service migration. March of Giants stays listed as original IP under the same label without a new street date in this note. What we are not saying: we are not inventing new Division or Splinter Cell release dates, claiming Massive left Ubisoft, or reporting studio closures. Report the Creative House 2 → Massive Entertainment brand effective with the announce.
