Rayman Legends Retold is no longer an October launch.
Publisher Ubisoft and developers Ubisoft Montpellier and Ubisoft Milan have moved the remake from its previously planned October 1 date to December 3, 2026, Gematsu reported September 14, 2026, quoting Ubisoft’s full delay note. Platforms remain PlayStation 5, Xbox Series, Nintendo Switch 2, and PC via Steam, Epic Games Store, and Ubisoft Store.
Gone gold — but taking polish time
Ubisoft’s message to fans is explicit: the game has officially gone gold, and the team is taking extra time so “every detail gets the care it deserves.” Same note teases a “Game Overview” trailer on September 22, with a selection of creators and press sharing fresh hands-on impressions that same day.
No new price or feature-cut claims appear in the delay statement — treat this as a schedule + polish update only.
As-of: evening September 16, 2026 (2026-09-16 ~5:30 PM CDT (America/Chicago)). Dec 3 2026 date, Oct 1 slip, gone-gold/polish framing, Sep 22 trailer+hands-on, and platform list verified against Gematsu’s Sep 14 report quoting Ubisoft’s delay message.
