Xbox is bringing its fan tour home for its birthday. According to Xbox Wire, Xbox FanFest will take over Seattle’s Museum of Pop Culture (MoPOP) on Thursday, November 12, 2026, the final stop of this year’s eight-city FanFest Tour.

The timing is deliberate. Xbox celebrates 25 years on November 15, the anniversary of the original console’s 2001 launch, and the Seattle event is pitched as part of an anniversary week in the region where the brand started. “Seattle, we’re coming home,” the announcement opens.

Xbox says fans at MoPOP can expect “a celebration of XBOX past, present and future,” with hands-on gameplay, Xbox history and artifacts, chances to meet the people behind the games, trivia, collectibles, fan activities, an Xbox Gear pop-up shop, and “plenty of surprises along the way.” Xbox has not said which games will be playable.

The way in is a sweepstakes. The XBOX FanFest Seattle Ticket Sweepstakes is open to eligible U.S. residents 18 and older. Winners are picked at random and notified by email, and travel and lodging are not included. Entries close at 11:59 p.m. PT on Sunday, October 11, which is 2:59 a.m. ET on Monday, October 12.

For fans outside the Seattle area, Xbox is also running a Green Ticket Trip Sweepstakes. One grand prize covers a trip for the winner and one guest to attend FanFest Seattle. It is open to eligible residents 18 and older and ends at the same time, 11:59 p.m. PT on October 11. Official rules are linked from the Xbox Wire post, and no purchase is necessary for either sweepstakes.

Xbox is also pointing fans to its 25th anniversary hub for the wider celebration. The event caps a busy fall for the platform: Gears of War: E-Day has just arrived and is earning strong scores, as RCG reported when E-Day hit 87 on Metacritic and 88 on OpenCritic.
