If you missed out on Comic-Con 2027 badges the first time, your next shot now has a date. Comic-Con International announced on Tuesday, October 20, that its Open Registration badge sale for Comic-Con 2027 will take place on Saturday, November 14, 2026.
The sale starts at 9 a.m. Pacific time, which is 11 a.m. CT. The virtual waiting room opens at 7:30 a.m. PT, or 9:30 a.m. CT, giving fans more than an hour to get in line before badges go on sale.
Who can buy
Open Registration is open to anyone with a valid Comic-Con Member ID account who meets the eligibility requirements. That makes it the main chance for new attendees, and for anyone who could not get badges earlier, to join the show. Badges are limited and demand is always high. Returning Registration earlier this month moved fast, with Comic-Con 2027 returning badges selling out in about 90 minutes.
How to get ready
Comic-Con is urging fans to prepare well before November 14. New participants should create a Member ID ahead of time, and current members should make sure their name, password, email, membership type and payment details are up to date.
- Know which days you want, and have a backup plan in case some days sell out before you check out.
- If your payment method is not saved in your account, keep a credit or debit card ready.
- If you are buying for friends or family, you will need each person’s Member ID and last name exactly as it appears in their account.
The organization says more blog posts with tips are on the way, and it will share updates through Member ID emails, its social channels and Toucan, the official blog of Comic-Con and WonderCon.
San Diego’s convention is one of the hardest tickets in pop culture, and with returning badges already gone, November 14 is likely the last big window for most fans. Set a reminder, log in early and be patient in the waiting room.
