Capcom has served up the next boss for Mega Man: Dual Override. Cook Man, the fourth Robot Master revealed for the game, made his debut at gamescom asia x Thailand Game Show 2026, and Capcom followed up with a press release in Japan on Nov. 2.

Capcom pitched him as a fitting reveal for Thailand and its food culture. Cook Man is a wandering cooking robot who believes food should be enjoyable from the very first step of preparation, so he built his own “Kung Fu Cooking” style that works martial arts into his technique. His hunger for recognition gets out of hand, though, and he ends up rampaging through a huge restaurant.

“A wandering chef seeking recognition for his culinary prowess, Cook Man prepares to slice and dice our heroes with his Kung Fu Cooking style in Mega Man: Dual Override,” Capcom said in its English description. “Can you take the heat, or will you get out of his kitchen?”

His stage is set in a bustling giant kitchen, where players will need to read and dodge flying cooking utensils as they fight through to the boss. Footage shared by Capcom shows the battle taking place on a massive frying pan, with Cook Man using a bladed ponytail and thrown utensils.

Cook Man joins the three Robot Masters revealed so far: Tank Man, Twinkle Girl and Jet Man. Like the classic games, Dual Override has eight main bosses, so four are still to come, plus returning bosses from earlier entries.

Dual Override is the first new classic-series Mega Man game since Mega Man 11 and is Capcom’s centerpiece for the series’ 40th anniversary. It stars both Mega Man and Proto Man, who play differently, as our Tokyo Game Show hands-on found: Proto Man has to get in close but can block with his shield. An Override system lets players push past their limits for a burst of power, and a Custom Chip system lets them upgrade characters freely. According to the official site and Capcom’s release, the game is due in spring 2027 for Switch 2, Switch, PS5, PS4, Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One and PC via Steam, Epic and Xbox on PC.

Fans who want to catch up first can grab Mega Man 11 and other series entries in Capcom’s Autumn Sale, which runs on various stores into early November.
